What IS That?? .... Photo Hunt

This week's theme: What IS That??!
Another great shot from my husband's trip to Yokohama Japan.

What it is... An Ancient Samurai Training Arena.
Very Cool huh! It was left intact when they built the hotel behind it.
Note the footbridge that leads to the lobby...

That is a fabulous topic choice for today's theme. And what lovely photographs.

I also poked around here and checked out your craft entries. Interesting and fun!

I thought it was an old submarine pen.

That's really neat the way they not only preserved it but incorporated into the building of the hotel. I imagine it is very interesting at night with the spotlights.

Interesting photo.

Very cool training center! I'm glad they preserved it and didn't build over it (besides the bridge). I never would have guessed what it was, glad you told us!!

My son is stopping by later for his class reunion and leaving for Japan tomorrow. I wonder what wonders he will come back with--and if he'll share the pictures.

That's pretty damn cool girl. P must've had a good time over there, from the looks of the pictures anyway. Very nice of them to leave it intact so he could get this picture.
